Workshops

Workshops are designed with recreation and creativity in mind, and take place in an area that is well-equipped for this purpose. Capacity is for 30 pupils, and is thus one of the most highly demanded services offered by the Museum.

Workshop list:

  • Puzzle Workshop. (Only for Infant School pupils: 4 and 5 years.
  • Carved Cave Paintings Workshop.
  • Ceramics Workshop.
  • Greek Helmet and Sword (final Bronze Age) Workshop
  • Mosaic Workshop.
  • Arabic Calligraphy Workshop.

 

Teachers are advised to choose the workshop that best matches the content of the Educational Unit selected, in order to complement the work.

Rules & Regulations:

The teacher must be present throughout the whole activity and will be responsible for maintaining group discipline.

Children must bring the materials indicated for each activity, as well as a folder, book or similar to use as a support when carrying out the activity. It is completely forbidden to lean on the glass cases.

Once the application form has been received by the Museum, the Education Department will contact the School to confirm the date and time of the visit.

Conditions:

Entry Price: Pupils will pay the tariff valid for Schools.

Free entry for those in charge of the groups.

Groups of 25/30 pupils accompanied by their teacher.

Opening Times: Tuesday to Friday. Guided visit (10-11.30am); workshop (12-1.30pm)
